Club Africain tabs Jesse Jones, ex Anhui W.

Jesse Jones

Club Africain Tunis (ProA) signed American 183cm point guard Jesse Jones (college: Bridgeport). He recently played for Anhui Wenyi in the Chinese NBL league. In 9 games, he averaged an impressive 25.9ppg, 3.6rpg, 5.2apg, and 1.2spg this season. Jones also had a stint with Al Khor (QBL) in the Qatari league.

Jones, a very experienced player, has traveled extensively during his pro career, playing in eight different countries on four continents (Asia, Latin America, Africa, and North America). He has played professionally in Iraq (Dijlah), Lebanon (Homentmen and Hoops), Mexico (Indomables), Qatar, ABA (GS Warriors), Libya (Ahly Benghazi), and Canada (Titans and St. John's E.).
Among many awards, his team won the Iraqi League Cup in 2024. He was voted to the Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Honorable Mention back in 2023.
Jones attended Bridgeport University until 2016 and is currently in his tenth season in pro basketball. He also played for Passaic County Community College for 2 years.
