Dar City Basketball Team secured an 85–78 win over Matero Magic in their 2026 Road to BAL matchup, delivering a steady and controlled performance across all four quarters. Dar City edged a tight first quarter 21–20 and widened the gap with a strong 21–13 second period to take an eight-point lead into halftime. Matero Magic battled back in the third and fourth quarters, outscoring Dar City in both frames, but the hosts maintained their composure and consistent scoring to keep their opponents at arm’s length. With balanced production and four quarters of 21 points or more, Dar City held firm to claim a solid seven-point victory.
Angok Deng (203-F-1992, college: Baylor) stepped up with 23 points and 12 rebounds, whilst Nisre Zouzoua (188-G-1996, college: Nevada) poured in 18. Marc Seylan-Agbo (193-G-1992, college: UMES) answered with 20 points in a loss and Corey Boyd (206-C-1998) had 14.
