Ferroviario da Beira - Bravehearts Basketball Club 78-66

Ferroviario da Beira opened their 2026 Road to BAL campaign with a strong 78–66 victory over Bravehearts Basketball Club, overcoming a slow start to take control of the game. After trailing 15–13 at the end of the first quarter, Beira responded with a dominant 23–11 second period to seize momentum and enter halftime with the lead. They maintained their advantage in the third quarter and sealed the win with a powerful 25-point fourth quarter. Despite a late push from Bravehearts, who scored 26 points in the final frame, Ferroviario da Beira’s balanced scoring and consistent defense ensured a comfortable and well-earned 12-point win.
Josh Thomas (193-G-1997, college: Milwaukee) top-scored for the winners with 22 points and Ismael Nurmamade (185-SG-1991) netted 13. Maxwell Ngonga (173-PG-1996) replied with 17 points in defeat.
