Al-Ahly Benghazi - AS Douanes 86-71

Al Ahly Benghazi secured their spot in the Elite 16 of BAL with a strong second-half performance to defeat AS Douanes 86-71. Despite trailing 22-15 after the first quarter, the Libyan side gradually found their rhythm, closing the gap by halftime before taking full control in the third quarter with a 31-point outburst. Their defensive adjustments and offensive efficiency in the second half proved decisive, as they outscored AS Douanes 57-39 over the final two quarters. With this impressive comeback win, Al Ahly Benghazi move one step closer to qualifying for the Basketball Africa League.
Olumiye Oni (198-G-1997, college: Yale) stepped up with 19 points and Sofian Hamad (204-SF-1998) notched 18. Franck Ouedraogo (1997) replied with 15 points in the losing case.
