Al Ahly Tripoli - Petro de Luanda 88-67

Al Ahly Tripoli earned the 2025 Basketball Africa League title. They fired past Petro de Luanda in the Final tonight. Assem Marei (206-C-1992, college: MSU) posted 22 points and 19 rebounds to pace the Libyan side.
Al Ahly grabbed a 27-19 lead after ten minutes. Petro de Luanda managed to slow their opponents down in the second frame. The Angolan team pulled within 5 points at halftime 38-43. But Al Ahly looked the better part in the second half. The Libyan team extended the margin at 12-point mark heading into the fourth frame. Al Ahly followed with a strong 22-13 rally in the final period to ice the victory. Fabian White Jr. (202-SF-1998, college: Houston) produced 18 points and 9 rebounds for the champions. Aboubacar Gakou (201-F-1997) answered with 12 points for Petro de Luanda. Patrick Gardner (211-C-1999, college: Marist) and Childe Dundao (169-PG-1998) accounted for 11 points each in the loss.
