American forward Teafale Lenard was the top scorer of the day in the world with the 39 points he had in the Basketball Africa League. Lenard graduated from University of Memphis last year. Despite his strong performance, his team the Blue Soldiers lost to the Thunder 76 to 85. He also grabbed 8 rebounds that game. Lenard is the 2nd best scorer in the league averaging almost 24 points and over 6 rebounds per game. 8 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges. Among many awards he played in the final of the CBI Championship in 2022. He was selected to the C-USA AllFreshman Team back in 2022.
