Stade Malien - Rivers Hoopers 60-81

Rivers Hoopers have won 2025 Regular Season opener in BAL. They edged Stade Malien 81-60 at the Salle Omnisports Moulay Abdellah.
The Malian powerhouse surprised the opponents with a 23-16 run, however could not match the Hoopers in the erst of the game. Rivers Hoopers replied with a massive 25-12 surge in the second frame and added a 21-12 rally in the third quarter. The Nigeria side closed the opener with a 19-13 rally to seal the win.
Kelvin Amayo (193-G-1992, college: LMU, agency: DBA Reed) stepped up with 19 points and Madut Akec (201-F-1999, college: Detroit) scored 16. Raphiael Putney (207-F/C-1990, college: UMass) delivered 14 and Maxi Munanga (191-G-1993) had 11. Mahamane Coulibaly (2001) replied with 20 points in the losing effort.
