King is back at Al Ittihad Alexandria, ex Al Riyadi

Al Ittihad Alexandria (Superleague) signed 31-year old USA ex-international swingman George King (198cm-100kg-1994, college: Colorado, agency: Slash Sports). It is actually his comeback to Alexandria as he has played here before. He just played at Al Riyadi in Lebanese LBL league. In 6 games just recently he had very impressive stats: 20.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.0apg this season. He was also named League Player of the Week. King also played 4 games in West Asia Super League where just recently he recorded also remarkable stats: 20.5ppg, 4.3rpg and 3.0apg. The other team he played shortly was Al Ittihad Alexandria. Another team he played briefly was Bossing (PBA) in Filipino league.
In 2018 he was drafted by Phoenix Suns (NBA) in second round (59th overall). He graduated from University of Colorado and it is his seventh season in pro basketball. King was a member of USA Senior National Team in 2022.
He is quite experienced player. King has played in eleven different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Australia (Hawks), Germany (Chemnitz), Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), Italy (Dolomiti Trentino), Philippines, Poland (Zastal), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and LA Clippers), NBA G League (NAZ Suns and San Diego Clippers), The Basketball Tournament (Team Colorado) and NBA Summer League (Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers). King was also voted to Asia-Basket.com All-PBA Commissioner's Cup Honorable Mention in 2025.
His team made it to the NBA G League Semifinals in 2022.
