FUS Rabat inks Dwight Howard, ex Mustangs

Fath US de Rabat (DEX-H) signed experienced 39-year old USA ex-international center Dwight Howard (211cm-120kg-1985). He is the second foreign player in the roster as Belgian Ayoub Nouhi signed here earlier.
He just played at Mustangs in Taiwanese TAT league.
In 2004 he was drafted by Orlando Magic (NBA) as #1 pick overall.
He also represented USA at the Olympic Games in Beijing (China) seventeen years ago. His team won Gold and he had almost 11 points per game.
He is quite experienced player. Howard has played in four different countries on three different continents (Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously in Philippines (Strong Group Athletics), Puerto Rico (Mets) and NBA (Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets, LA Lakers, Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers).
Among many awards he played in the final of Dubai International Tournament in 2024. Howard was also voted Asia-basket.com All-Taiwanese T1 League Import Player of the Year in 2023.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at FUS Rabat.
