Urunani - Kriol Star 82-90

Kriol Star qualified for BAL 2025 beating Urunani 90-82 at the semifinals of the Elite 16 of the East Division. Cape Verde's team have made history, stunning favourites Urunani 90-82 for to qualify for the Basketball Africa League season. Trailing 9 points at the halftime, Kriol Star nailed 32 points in the third period and won the last stanza 30-25.
Patrick McGlynn (188-G-1992, college: URI) was unstoppable with 35 points and Dieudonne Ndayisaba Ndizeye netted 21. Jean-Jacques Boissy (183-PG-2000) replied with 33 points in a loss and Marcus Crawford as well as Mohamed Doumbya (1997) had 15 each.
