Nairobi City Thunder - City Oilers 72-62

Nairobi City Thunder became first Kenyan team to qualify for the BAL. They overcame City Oilers 72-62 in front of an electric crowd at the 5,000-seater Kasarani Indoor Arena.
Ater Majok (210-C-1987, college: UConn) stepped up with 17 points and Uchenna Iroegbu (183-PG-1996, college: Stony Brook) had 16. Tylor Ongwae (201-F-1991, college: ULM) followed them with 12, whilst Garang Diing poured in 11. Parrish Petty (185-PG-1988, college: UTRGV) replied with 23 points in the losing effort. Falando Jones (193-SF-1990, college: MVSU) netted 15 and Israel Otobo (200-C-2004) brought 12.
