The standout Senegalese point guard Jean-Jacques Boissy was voted the Player of the Year of the championship-winning Al Ahly Tripoli from Libya. He received multiple other awards, was selected as the African Player of the Year, Guard of the Year, and was chosen to the First Team and Defensive Team. Boissy helped Boissy's team have an undefeated season as Al Ahly Tripoli was not challenged in the league with a perfect 6 to 0 in the regular season. His excellent performance assisted his team in beating Atletico Petroleos de Luanda 88 to 67 in the final. Boissy was previously named to the First Team back in 2023. With finesse and precision, Boissy claimed the second position in points per game, delivering a stellar almost 19 points per game average. He also averaged almost 4 rebounds per game in the league. Boissy has totalled 4 games of 20 or more points on the year. His 30 points against the Thunder were the most he scored in the 2025 season. 8 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges. Boissy's team won the Senegalese League Group A Regular Season in 2024.
Aliou Diarra, 23-year old Malian forward APR Basketball Club Kigali from Rwanda, was honored as the Defensive Player of the Year at the Rwanda Basketball League. He collected multiple other honors, earned a spot in the First Team and Defensive Team. Diarra previously earned the Defensive Player of the Year back in 2023, and voted to the First Team back in 2023 and 2024 and Forward of the Year last year. He was the Player of the Week honoree in the league. Diarra's court vision propelled him to the fifth spot in points per game an outstanding average of over 17 and second position in rebounds per game, averaging over 11. He has totalled 12 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 14 games on the year. Diarra's 29 points against the Patriots were the most he scored in the 2025 season. 8 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges.

He graduated from the St. Bonaventure University seven years ago. Adams was also selected to the First Team. He helped Adams' team have an undefeated season as Al Ahly Tripoli was not challenged in the league with a perfect 6 to 0 in the regular season. Adams' excellent performance assisted his team in beating Atletico Petroleos de Luanda 88 to 67 in the final. He received Player of the Week award three times during the 25 campaign. Adams registered over 16 points and almost 5 assists per game that season in the league. He has totalled 3 games of 20 or more points on the year. Adams' 28 points against the MBB Blue Soldiers were the most he scored in the 2025 season. He won NBA G League Central Division championship title in 2020.
Majok Deng, 32-year old South Sudanese forward Al Ittihad Alexandria from Egypt, was named the Forward of the Year of Basketball Africa League. He Is Louisiana at Monroe alumni from 2016. Deng received multiple other awards, was chosen to the First Team and Second Team. He helped Deng's team have an undefeated season as Al Ittihad Alexandria was not challenged in the league with a perfect 6 to 0 in the regular season. Deng was previously voted the Finals MVP and named to Honorable Mention last year selection. He had over 15 points and 5 rebounds per game over the season in the league. Deng's 21 points against the Stade were the most he scored in the 2025 season.
Patrick Gardner, Egyptian center Atletico Petroleos de Luanda from Angola, was selected as the Center of the Year at the Basketball Africa League. He Is ex Marist from 2023. Gardner was also named to the First Team. His best performance made his team reach the final but they lost against Al Ahly Tripoli 67 to 88. Gardner averaged over 13 points and 6 rebounds per game in the league. His 19 points against the ASCVD were the most he scored in the 2025 season.
