Lual-Acuil Jr. number one in Basketball Africa League for round 6

South Sudanese-Australian Center Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. (213-C-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Al Alhy Benghazi, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 42 points and 11 rebounds, while his team outclassed City Oilers (#4, 1-5) with 32-point margin 110-78. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Ahly Benghazi is placed at 2nd position in Basketball Africa League. Ahly Benghazi is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-3 record. Third on the list of top players last round was another Bangui's star - guard Kurt-Curry Wegscheider (196-G-2001). Wegscheider scored 21 points. He was another key player of Bangui Sporting Club, helping his team with a 91-76 easy win against #4 ranked City Oilers. Bangui needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 3 lost games. Wegscheider has a very solid season. In 6 games in Basketball Africa League he scored 10.8ppg.
