Stade Malien became the First BAL Semifinalist as they overcame Cape Town Tigers 78-69. The team from Mali opened the game with a 31-15 surge and never looked behind. Cape Town Tigers meanwhile won both periods in the second half to reduce the gap to 9 points.
Aliou Diarra (F-2001) and John Wilkins top-scored for the winners with 18 points each.
