Abidjan Basket Club clinch 2023 Basketball Africa League Season appearance. They overcame Stade Malien 80-63 in the semifinal clash of the qualifiers. Abidjan Basket Club grabbed a 21-10 lead at the start and led 13 points at the halftime. Moreover, they added a 22-13 run in the third quarter, while the opponents posted a 22-17 run at the end of the game.
Stephane Konate (191-SG-1980) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Mike Fofana (206-F-1997, college: HSU, agency: One Motive Sports) posted 16. Souleymane Berthe delivered 15 points in a loss and Aliou Diarra scored 12.
