Matero Magic A - Urunani 53:72

Urunani rolled over Matero Magic 72-53 in Group C of the 2022 Road To BAL qualifiers. The team from Burundi trailed 18-19 at the end of the first period and then posted a 15-11 rally in the second frame. Moreover, they took control of the game in the second half for the final success.
Landry Ndikumana (198-F-1995) top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Malick Ngenzahayo (176-G-1996) nailed 16. Ngezahayo intimated that, while they were excited about their achievement, preparation for the Elite 16 would start immediately.
