28-year old power forward Rolly Nganga (201-PF-1993) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Fukash and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had the game-high 29 points adding eight rebounds and five assists for Fukash in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Cape Town T. (#3, 2-3) 96-92. Fukash maintains the 6th position in Basketball Africa League . Too late to improve their position as they are currently ranked such low. They already lost 4 games and recorded just one victory. In the team's last game Nganga had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Fukash, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Rolly Nganga averages this season 20.0ppg.
Second best performed player last round was Billy Preston (209-PF-1997) of Tigers. He is American forward in his first season at Tigers. In the last game Preston recorded impressive 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Tigers was edged by the lower-ranked Fukash (#6, 1-4) 96-92. Tigers managed to keep the same 3rd spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Preston is a newcomer at Tigers and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.7ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 8.5rpg and 3.2apg.
Third place about best performers goes to another Fukash's star - forward Emmanuel Okorafor (206-F-2004). Okorafor showcased his all-around game by recording 12 points, fourteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. He was another key player of Fukash, helping his team with a 96-92 win against the higher-ranked Cape Town T. (#3, 2-3). Fukash can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-4 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Okorafor has a very solid season. In 5 games in Basketball Africa League he scored 9.2ppg.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
