The Regular Season in Basketball Africa League just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Rwandan REG defeated Moroccan AS Sale in Kigali 91-87. REG looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Cleveland Thomas (192-1993, college: WKU, agency: Slash Sports) stepped up and scored 26 points and 7 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward Anthony Walker (206-1993, college: UT Arlington) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Terrell Stoglin (185-1991, college: Maryland) responded with 32 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. AS Sale will play next round against Fer.Beira trying to get back on the winning streak. REG will try to continue on its current victory against SLAC in Conakry.

Very important is a road loss of Mozambican Fer.Beira against Tunisian US Monastir on Sunday night. Visiting Fer.Beira was defeated by US Monastir in a tough game in Monastir 71-77. Ater Majok fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. William Perry produced 17 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. US Monastir will meet SLAC in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fer.Beira will play against AS Sale and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

DUC Dakar - SLAC 70-85

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Senegalese DUC Dakar at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Guinean SLAC 85-70. Miller is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four SLAC players scored in double figures. Abel Diop (-1993) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Adama Diakhite (-1997) added 17 points respectively for DUC Dakar in the defeat.
