FAP Yaounde - Espoir Fukash 70:56

FAP seal Basketball Africa League appearance as they edged Espoir Fukash 70:56. Espoir Fukash will have a second chance to qualify to the BAL on Thursday when they face AS Police in the Third-Place Game.
FAP Yaounde started the game with a 19-12 rally and added a massive 21-11 surge in the second period. Espoir Fukash replied with a 19-11 run in the third quarter, whilst FAP closed the game with a final 19-14 rally.
Deon Lyle (196-SG-96, college: UTSA) stepped up with 17 points and Brice Bidias poured in 15. Ebaku Akumenzoh (200-PF-89) poured in 10 points, whilst Joel Almeida (195-F-85, college: Brockport St.) netted 8. Djack Kabuya replied with 14 points in a loss and Arsene Mutomb (209-C-87) as well as Michael Tshibende (03) had 8 apiece.
