SLAC - Police 81-78 OT

SLAC edged Police in overtime thriller at the first Semifinal of the Division West. SLAC grabbed an 81-78 win in Yaounde.
Police managed to win the first period 15-13, whilst SLAC nailed 25 points in the second frame to take a 38-26 halftime advantage. Police was too far to give up and replied with two wins in the second half to tie the game at 70-70. SLAC meanwhile closed the game with a final 11-8 rally in overtime to seal the win.
Dane Miller (201-G-90, college: Rutgers) top-scored for the winners with 26 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Mike Poole (196-F-92, college: Iona) poured in 19, whilst Dioumba Mara (197-SF-93) added 13. Stephane Konate (191-SG-80) ended up with 24 points in a loss and Papa Tandina (187-G-93) produced 16.
