SLAC reach Elite 16 Division West Semi-Finals as they overcame Nigelec 82:54. They took an early 26-10 lead and added a 21-17 rally in the second period. Moreover, the team from Guinea won both periods in the second half for the final success.
Mike Poole (196-F-92, college: Iona) top-scored for the winners with 27 points and Mamadou Keita (192-G-93) delivered 16. Dioumba Mara (197-SF-93) followed them with 14 points in a winning effort. Chibuzor Njoku (F-95) replied with 17 points in defeat and Abdoul Yaye produced 10.
