GS Petroliers held off FAP to win Elite 16 West Division title. The hosts were already 14 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 33-23 Fap's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 92-88 at the end of the game. GS Petroliers had a 37-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Center Mohamed-Seddik Touati (215-87) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American swingman Devin Green (201-82, college: Hampton) accounted for 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Five GS Petroliers players scored in double figures. American guard Jordan Rezendes (188-92, college: UMass Dartmouth) came up with 15 points and 5 assists and guard Engelbert Beleck (192-98) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Fap in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.

AS Police held off ABC to advance into African Basketball League main slate. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-69. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when AS Police made 7 blocks. American-Bahrain power forwardMalcolm White (205-88, college: LSU) stepped up and scored 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and forwardBenke Diarouma (198-95) chipped in 13 points and 13 rebounds. Four AS Police players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Abraham Sie (171-99) responded with 25 points and 8 assists and forward Lassina Konate (196-96) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
