Angola U16 - Sierra Leone U16 65-37

Angola U16 cruised to a 65–37 victory over Sierra Leone U16 in the 2025 FIBA U16 AfroBasket tournament, showing their depth and consistency across all four quarters. Angola jumped to an early 17–7 lead in the first quarter and extended their advantage to 36–21 by halftime. Despite Sierra Leone’s efforts to stay in touch, Angola’s defense held firm, limiting their opponents to just 6 points in the final quarter. With balanced scoring and strong rebounding, Angola controlled the tempo throughout and secured a convincing win to strengthen their position in the tournament.
Edilson Pedro (2010) top-scored for the winners with 19 points and Alfredo Micaba (2009) had 14. Abdulrahman Sesay (2010) replied with 11 points in the losing effort.
