Well-balanced Angola beat Libya in Day 1 of the 2025 AfroBasket. They grabbed an 85-53 win at the Pavilhao Multiusos de Luanda.
The home side opened the campaign with a 20-13 run and managed to win all the quarters of the game.
Childe Dundao (169-PG-1998) and Kevin Kokila (204-F/C-2001) stepped up with 12 points each, whilst Braz Machi (202-C-2001) and Aboubacar Gakou (201-F-1997) netted 8 apiece. Naseim Badrush (190-G-1998) replied with 16 points for Lybia.
