Guinea - Angola 66-65

Guinea shocked Angola to register their first victory in Group E at the 2025 AfroBasket Qualifiers. Guinea posted a 66-65 thrilling win in Libya.
Guinea grabbed a 22-17 lead at the start and looked better in the third quarter. Angola meanwhile replied with a 15-13 run in the last stanza however feel short at the end. Ahmed Doumbia (195-G/F-1989) netted a final free throw at the end to seal the win.
Ousmane Drame (206-F/C-1993, college: Quinnipiac) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Ahmed Doumbia brought 12, Aboubacar Gakou (201-F-1997) replied with 18 points in a loss.
