Cassule's 17 points give him Player of the Week award

18-year old Stelmar Cassule (SG -2006) had an amazing evening in the last round for FC Vila Clotilde 2nd team and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 16.
He had the game-high 17 points adding three rebounds and three assists for Vila Clotilde B in his team's victory, helping them to beat Interclube B (#10, 4-10) 75-63. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Vila Clotilde B maintains the 11th position in Angolan league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 11 games and recorded just four victories. It was one of impressive evenings for Cassule as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Stelmar Cassule averages this season 7.3ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Eduardo Luis (PG ) of Grupo Desportivo Interclube de Luanda 2nd team. He is a in his second season at Interclube B. In the last game Luis recorded an impressive double-double of 12 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Interclube B lost that game 63-75 to slightly lower-ranked Vila Clotilde B (#11, 4-11). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Interclube B keeps 10th position. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Interclube B managed to get this year. Luis is well-known at Interclube B and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to another Interclube B's star - Luis Nunes (SG ). Nunes scored 17 points. Despite Nunes' great performance the Grupo Desportivo Interclube de Luanda 2nd team lost 63-75 to slightly lower-ranked Vila Clotilde B (#11, 4-11). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. Interclube B can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 4-10 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Nunes has individually a great season in Angola. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.4ppg (4th best).
