2025 AfroBasket Qualifiers: Mozambique upset Angola in Luanda

Mozambique rallied past Angola in the 2025 AfroBasket Qualifiers Zone 6. Ingvild Mucauro (176-F-1992) posted 12 points to lead the winners.
Angola eked out a 10-9 lead after ten minutes. They maintained the lead throughout the second term to gain a 24-23 halftime advantage. Mozambique responded with a 16-10 rally in the third term to spur ahead. The visitors held Angola to just 10 points in the fourth stanza and raced to the road win. Carla Covane (190-C-1999, college: Cumberlands) tossed in 10 points for the winners. Sara Caetano (172-SG-2003) answered with 17 points and 12 rebounds for the hosts.
