Angolan Division I round 10 best performance: Eduardo Luis (by Hoops Agents)

Eduardo Luis (PG ) had a very impressive game in the last round for Grupo Desportivo Interclube de Luanda 2nd team, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The player had a double-double of 22 points and 18 rebounds, while his team crushed Vila Clotilde B (#10, 3-8) with 21-point margin 86-65. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Interclube B is placed at 9th position in Angolan Division I. Interclube B is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-5 record. In the team's last game Luis had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Interclube B and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Eduardo Luis has solid league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 11.3rpg. Luis is in league's top in and averages impressive 55.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Herve Matubilo (SG ) of FC Vila Clotilde 2nd team. Matubilo had a very good evening with 24 points and 9 rebounds. Of course Vila Clotilde B cruised to a 90-82 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Benguela (#13, 1-4). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Vila Clotilde B managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 10th place. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Vila Clotilde B managed to get this year. Matubilo is a newcomer at Vila Clotilde B, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Interclube B's star - Luis Nunes (SG ). Nunes scored 22 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Grupo Desportivo Interclube de Luanda 2nd team, helping his team with a 86-65 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Vila Clotilde B (#10, 3-8). The chances of Interclube B not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 5 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Nunes could try to bring Interclube B's a little bit higher in the standings. Nunes has a very solid season. In 3 games in Angola he scored 18.0ppg.
