Angolan Division I round 7 best performance: Lucas Bondo

Point guard Lucas Bondo (PG) put on an amazing game in the last round for Sporting Clube de Luanda, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The player had a double-double of 30 points and 15 rebounds, while his team outclassed Kwanza (#10, 2-6) with 55-point margin 138-83. Sporting maintains the 3rd position in Angolan Division I. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Sporting already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Bondo had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Sporting's top player in his first season with the team. Lucas Bondo averages this season 12.2ppg and 8.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young international forward Aboubacar Gakou (201-F-1997) of league's second-best Atletico Petroleos de Luanda. Gakou had a very good evening with 28 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led P.Luanda to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked P.Luanda B (#7, 3-3) 113-82. P.Luanda's second position in the standings has not changed. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 5 games without any defeat. Gakou is one of the most experienced players at P.Luanda and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.8ppg (#1). He also registered 6.6 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Adilson Ramos (179-PG-1989) of Clube Desportivo Kwanza Luanda (#10). Ramos got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . He was a key player of Kwanza, leading his team to a 86-78 win against Akira (#14, 0-8). Kwanza can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-6 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Ramos has individually a great season in Angola. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.4ppg (2nd best).
