The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Benguela (1-1) on the court of fourth ranked Vila Clotilde on Friday night. Visitors were rolled over by Vila Clotilde 91-65. Vila Clotilde dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Benguela's 30. Vila Clotilde forced 35 Benguela turnovers. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sporting L. B. It was an exceptional evening for Elcane Paca who led the winners and scored 16 points and 8 assists. Josue Bartolomeu came up with 11 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals for Sporting L. B in the defeat.
