Angola U18 nipped Egypt U18 to gain 2-1 record in Group B of AfroBasket. Egypt led by four points after ten minutes. But Angola responded with a 28-21 run in the next two periods to spur ahead. Angola protected a narrow lead throughout the fourth period and rallied to the win. Abraem Mateus (2006) produced 17 points, while Aginaldo Neto (185-G-2006) added 13 points for Angola. Mohammed Hussin (192-G-2006) answered with 13 points for Egypt.
