Poissy inks Melvyn Da Silva

Poissy Basket Association (NM1) signed 25-year-old Angolan-French ex-international forward Melvyn Da Silva (198cm-1999). He is the second foreign player in the roster as Lithuanian Kevin Cham signed here earlier. He played most recently at AS Kaysersberg Ammerschwihr BCA in the NM2. In 10 NM1 games, he had 8.6ppg, 3.3rpg, and 1.5apg in the 2022-23 year.
He was a member of the Angolan international program for some years. He was called to Angolan Senior National Team between 2020 and 2021 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2017.
Da Silva has played previously professionally in France (JA Vichy, Jean D'Arc Vichy Clermont Metropole 2nd team, Chalons-Reims, and Boulazac) and Angola (Atletico Petroleos de Luanda).
He won the Angolan League championship title in 2021.
