Grupo Desportivo Interclube clinch Liga Azule title

Grupo Desportivo Interclube celebrated the National Women’s Championship title. They defeated 1 de Agosto in the third game of the championship series to conquer the trophy. Tamara Seda (193-F-1994, college: UTEP) came up with 18 points to lead the charge.
Interclube eked out a 15-14 lead after ten minutes. But 1 de Agosto surged ahead in the second term to take a 28-23 halftime advantage. They maintained the lead throughout the third term entering the fourth stanza up by 4 points 45-41. Interclube tied things up at 60 late in regulation and then Tamara Seda sank a free throw to seal the victory for Interclube. Domilda Lussale netted 15 points in the win. Ana De Carvalho (SG) answered with 14 points for 1 de Agosto.
