2025 AfroBasket Qualifiers: Tunisia roll past Angola to stay perfect

Tunisia - Angola 82-73

Tunisia registered the third straight victory at the 2025 AfroBasket Qualifiers. They held off Angola to remain undefeated in Group E. Omar Abada (189-PG-1993) came up with 19 points and 8 assists to lead the charge.
Angola got to a strong start. The visitors grabbed a 25-19 lead after ten minutes. But Tunisia stiffened defensively in the next periods. They held Angola to 26 points in the next two quarters to secure a comfortable 11-point lead. Angola sank 22 points in the fourth term but could not avoid the defeat. Oussama Marnaoui (196-G-1999) banked in 17 points for the winners. Aboubacar Gakou (201-F-1997) answered with 19 points for Angola.
