Tenth-ranked Benguela (4-15) made lots of trouble for seventh ranked Interclube B (9-11) in Luanda on Monday. Interclube B managed to secure only three-point victory 62-59. However their fans expected easier game. Interclube B outrebounded Benguela 52-31 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international Keven Albino (200-1998) fired 3 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. point guard Edgar Simao chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Afonso Diogo produced 12 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Interclube B moved-up to sixth place. Benguela lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 15 games lost.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. 1 De Agosto have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 18-3 record having four points less than leader P.Luanda. Benguela lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 15 games lost.
