The visitors from Clotilde managed to secure only one-point victory 79-78. However their fans expected easier game. Vila Clotilde forced 23 Interclube B turnovers and outrebounded them 53-39 including a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Luanda: Interclube (#3) and P.Luanda B (#6). Interclube (16-5) smashed visiting P.Luanda B (9-12) by 30 points 107-77. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Valdelicio Joaquim (208-1990, college: Hawaii) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 8 rebounds and Carlos Cabral who added 16 points during the contest. The former international guard Jose Nseka (185-2005) responded with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Interclube have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 16-5 record having four points less than leader P.Luanda. P.Luanda B at the other side keeps the sixth place with 12 games lost.
Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Luanda: CPPL (#4) and Jesus Cristo (#7). CPPL (14-6) smashed visiting Jesus Cristo (8-12) by 51 points 114-63. The winners were led by Antonio Ndabililwa who scored that evening 30 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). CPPL's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds by Valdemar Lopes did not help to save the game for Jesus Cristo. CPPL maintains fourth position with 14-6 record. Jesus Cristo lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 12 games lost. In the last two games of round 20 P.Luanda smashed Kwanza on the road 130-67. Benguela lost to ASA on its own court 78-81.
The most impressive performance of 20th round was 24 points and 13 rebounds by Ludgero Galiza of ASA.

No shocking result in a game when first ranked P.Luanda (20-1) crushed on the road bottom-ranked Kwanza (0-20) 130-67 on Thursday. P.Luanda dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Kwanza's 40 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Kwanza 64-34 including a 44-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. P.Luanda looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Kwanza's players. The winners were led by the former international point guard Joaquim Pedro (176-1995) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and the former international center Yanick Moreira (208-1991, college: SMU) supported him with 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five P.Luanda players scored in double figures. Even 27 points by point guard Tiago Feijo did not help to save the game for Kwanza.
