P.Luanda's coach Jose Neto felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was the former international Ngombo Rogerio (202-1995) with 29 points and 6 rebounds. P.Luanda have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 13-1 record. ASA lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 11 games lost. The winners were led by Joseney Joaquim who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points, 29 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 30 points and 7 rebounds by Elizeu Ventura did not help to save the game for Kwanza. Kwanza's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jesus Cristo moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Interclube B. Loser Kwanza still closes the standings with 13 games lost.
