Inter Clube have won the bronze medal in the 2023 FIBA African Women Basketball League after an 83-68 win against REG Kigali. The Angolan side grabbed a 27-21 lead at the start and Inter Clube pushed REG's best scorers out of their comfort zones to go 27-17 up in the second quarter for a 54-38 lead at halftime, leaving the Rwandan side with a 16-point deficit. The final quarter was equally contested for a 14-all score as Inter Clube went on to win the bronze.
Cristina Matiquite (191-C-1992) top-scored for the winners with 22 points and Italee Lucas (172-G-1989, college: UNC) as well as Nadir Manuel (186-F/C-1986) had 19 each. Destiney Philoxy (170-G-2000, college: UMass) answered with 25 points in the losing case.
