Inter-Clube tabs Adrienne Godbold

Adrienne Godbold

GD Inter-Clube de Luanda (D1) has signed Adrienne Godbold, a 32-year-old American guard who stands at 180cm tall. Godbold played for Al Ahli in the Saudi Arabian D1 league before joining GD Inter-Clube de Luanda. In the previous summer, she played for Hatillo in the Puerto Rican BSNF league, where she had an impressive season. In 22 games, she averaged 19.7ppg, 9.2rpg, 2.5apg, and 2.5spg. Her performance earned her a spot in the Puerto Rican BSNF All-Star Game and she was also named League Player of the Week twice.
She's a highly experienced player, having played professionally in seven different countries across three continents - Europe, Latin America, and North America. Her pro career has taken her to Germany (Freiburg), Iceland (Stjarnan), Kosovo (Prishtina), Puerto Rico (Gigantes and Cidra), Saudi Arabia, Ukraine (Dynamo-NPU Kyiv), and WBDA (Chicago LR).
It is worth mentioning that she also played at the Eurobasket Summer League, which helped her secure a job in professional basketball.
She graduated from the University of Illinois in 2013, and this is her eleventh season in professional basketball.
