Cabral's 23 points and 7 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old guard Carlos Cabral (188-G-1995) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Grupo Desportivo Interclube de Luanda and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had the game-high 23 points adding seven rebounds and six assists for Interclube in his team's victory, helping them to beat 1 De Agosto (#2, 4-1) 102-96. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Interclube to consolidate first place in the Angolan league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Interclube already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Cabral had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. It's his second year at Interclube and it's hard to imagine this team without him.

Second best performed player last round was Wilson Ambrosio (199-F-1999). He is former international forward in his first season at Interclube. In the last game Ambrosio recorded impressive double-double of 18 points and 18 rebounds. It was enough for Grupo Desportivo Interclube de Luanda to edge slightly lower-ranked 1 De Agosto (#2, 4-1) by 6 points 102-96. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Interclube consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 6 games without any defeat.
