Mozambique - Angola 90:82

Mozambique have won AfroBasket Zone 6 Qualifiers as they defeated Angola 90:82 in the Final game. Mozambique opened the game with a 27-24 lead and added an 18-16 run in the second period. Angola looked better with a 30-20 run in the third quarter, whilst Mozambique closed the game with a final 25-12 surge.
Ingvild Mucauro (176-F-1992) top-scored for the winners with 32 points and Odelia Mafanela (181-F-1989) had 21. Silvia Veloso (170-G-1998, college: Cumberlands) poured in 18, whilst Stefania Chiziane (179-F-1996, college: Highland, KS) notched 11. Italee Lucas (172-G-1989, college: UNC) replied with 22 points in the losing effort.
