Olbis Futo Andre joins Bologna

Virtus Segafredo Bologna (Serie A1) agreed terms with 23-year old Angolan center Olbis Futo Andre (192cm-1998) for new 2022-2023 season. Futo Andre is the second import player in the roster as Croatian Ivana Dojkic signed here earlier.
She has played for the last four seasons at Famila Wuber Schio in the Serie A1. In 30 games she had 9.5ppg, 6.2rpg, 1.0apg and 1.4spg last season. She helped them to win the A1 title and the cup. She also played 18 games in Euroleague where she recorded 4.3ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.0spg. Futo Andre contributed to her team making it to the quarterfinals.
She represented Angola at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Sopron (Hungary) four years ago. Futo Andre's team got to the Semifinals and her stats at that event were 7 games: 10.6ppg, 7.4rpg, 1.0bpg, FGP: 47.4%, FT: 57.1%.
Futo Andre has played previously for Italian team Battipaglia.
