Nazare Lopes (ex CDEFF) joins Rosalia

Nazare Lopes

Instituto Rosalia Santiago de Compostela (LF2) agreed terms with 25-year old Portuguese-Angolan center Nazare Lopes (180cm). Lopes is the second import player in the roster as Canadian Catherine Traer signed here earlier.
She already started the season at Clube Desportivo Escola Francisco Franco in Portuguese Liga Feminina. In 7 games she had 2.6ppg and 2.4rpg.
She has played also professionally for other Portuguese teams like Boa Viagem, Quinta Lombos, Clube Desportivo Torres Novas and Imortal. Her team was regular season runner-up in Portuguese Division I Group South in 2021.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese 1.Divisao Honorable Mention in 2020.
