The 2019/20 national senior male championship of basketball was cancelled today, due to the covid-19 pandemic hitting the country and world. The decision follows a meeting held Wednesday in Luanda between the Angolan basketball federation management commission and representatives of the eight competing clubs. The competition that was suspended in March this year was led by title holder Petro de Luanda with 49 points, followed by 1 de Agosto and Interclube, both with 44 points, while CD Kwanza stood in the last position with 30.
