Here is the weekly review of the top performing Angolan players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is former international forward Bruno Fernando (208-98, college: Maryland, currently plays in NBA). He contributed to an easy victory against the Detroit Pistons (1-2) 117-100 in the NBA in Thursday night's game. Fernando scored 7 points in only 14 minutes on the court. It was his first game for Atlanta Hawks this season. His team have 2-0 record this season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Fernando played for the Angolan senior national team three years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former international power forward Antonio Monteiro (204-89, currently plays in Portugal). He led Imortal to an easy victory against the league outsider Braga (0-3) crushing them 110-83 in the Portuguese Proliga (second division) last Saturday. Monteiro recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting the same number of rebounds. He also added 4 assists. Imortal BC Albufeirais placed in the Proliga. Monteiro has relatively good stats this season: 11.7ppg, 9.0rpg, 2.3apg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 71.4% and FT: 66.7%. He has a dual citizenship: Angolan and Portuguese. Despite Monteiro played previously for the Portuguese U20 national team, he played also for the Angolan national team in 2014.

   #3. The Angolan player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Jaques Conceicao (190-89, agency: Promo Sport ID, currently plays in Portugal). Conceicao could not help Ovarense (0-3) in their last game. Despite his good performance Ovarense lost 67-76 on the road to the higher-ranked (#9) Illiabum. Conceicao scored 10 points in 25 minutes. So far Ovarense lost all three games in the Regular Season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Conceicao's first year with the team. This season he averages: 10.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.5apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 33.3%, 3FGP: 16.7% and FT: 72.2% in two games he played so far. Ex-Desportivo 1. De Agosto Luanda player is also a member of the Angolan senior national team.

   #4. Forward Julio De Assis (203-92, agency: Duran International, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Castello in their game against Leyma Basquet (3-2) in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). De Assis scored only 4 points. Castello was defeated 74-67 in Coruna by the much higher-ranked Leyma Basquet (#6). But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. De Assis' overall stats this season are: 4.6ppg and 1.4rpg. He is another player who holds two passports: Angolan and Spanish. De Assis used to play for the Angolan national team last year.

   #1. Fabio Galiano (202-PF-97, currently plays in Germany) managed to help Hertener Loewen Basketball to win against the 11th-ranked Grevenbroich (3-6) 91-89 in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) in Saturday night's game. Galiano scored only 4 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Hertener Loewen Basketball (6-3) is placed fifth in West group. It's Galiano's first season with the team. His overall stats this year are: 4.7ppg and 3.9rpg.

   #2. Fernando Mussongo (198-PF-96, currently plays in Switzerland). Mussongo could not help Lugano Tigers (10-1) to beat Massagno (2-3). He did not have that impressive stats last Sunday. Mussongo scored only 3 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 17 minutes. The league leader Lugano Tigers were badly defeated 81-61 on the road by the lower-ranked (#7) Massagno. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This year Mussongo's overall stats are: 1.3ppg and 2.3rpg in four games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Angolan and Swiss.
