1 de Agosto conquered last Tuesday the senior males National Basketball Championship title, after beating Petro de Luanda by 101-82 in the fifth game (best of seven) of the final playoff. 1 de Agosto won the two first games of the play off (87-73, 93-78), lost the third one (90-100), then won the third match (102-89) and last Tuesday won the fifth one. 1 de Agosto - who lead the championship titles list with 19 trophies - receive the title from Sport Libolo e Benfica squad.

1 De Agosto conquered Angolan Cup title. They edged Sport Libolo in the Final in Luanda. The teams went neck and neck throughout the opening period. However 1 De Agosto surged ahead in the second term. They established a 45:36 halftime lead. 1 De Agosto extended the lead in the third frame. They entered the fourth period up by 16 points 73:57 and never looked back en route to the win. Emmanuel Quezada (188-PG-85, college: USF) stepped up with 21 points for the winners. Leandro Conceicao (195-G) added 15 points for 1 De Agosto. Pedro Bastos (191-G-93) answered with 20 points for Libolo.

Interclube celebrate Vlademiro Romero Super Cup title in Luanda Province. They edged Sport Libolo e Benfica 82-79 in the final game. Jose Salvador (90) and Alexandre Jungo (198-F-97) top-scored for the winners with 18 points each. Miguel Kiala (204-C-90) netted 15, whilst Ngombo Rogerio (202-SF-96) had 9. Milton Barros (184-PG-84) replied with 15 points in a loss and Andre Harris (201-PF-85, college: Fair Dickinson) delivered 16.
