Interclube celebrate 11th trophy, Italee Lucas MVP - Jul 6, 2017


Interclube celebrated 11th trophy in Angola. They swept the Final series against 1 de Agosto 3-0 after a 76-65 win in game 3. Both teams stayed close to each other at the halftime as Interclube had a narrow 31-30 lead. Italee Lucas (175-SG-89, college: N.Carolina) was named MVP as she delivered 25 points for the winners.
Earlier Interclube posted 72-62 and 72-69 win in the first two games respectively.

Interclube celebrate Angolan Cup - Jun 26, 2017


Interclube sealed Angolan Cup as they overcame Primero de Agosto in the Final game. Interclube dominated the majority of the game for the final 65-58 win. They grabbed a 19-18 lead at the end of the first period and increased to a 10-point halftime advantage. Moreover Interclube looked better in the third period as well and reached 57-41 lead at the end of three quarters. Primero de Agosto posted a 17-8 rally in the last stanza, but could not catch up with the winners.
