Cote D'Ivoire senior national men team at the weekend picked the sole ticket for the 29th Afrobasket and 11th All Africa Games with a 69-57 and 62-49 points victory over host Benin Republic in a two-leg qualifiers played in Cotonou.

The Ivorian proved pundit right as they were predicted to out gun their host in a Group-D Zone-3 qualifiers made it its twenty-two appearance in the continent biggest basketball show-piece slated for Tunisia from August 19 through 30.
