Angola defeats DR Congo in the All-Africa Games opener

Angola's national team of basketball on Thursday beat the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) by 72-53, in the opening of their participation in the Pan-African Games, taking place in Algeria, from July 11 to 13, ANGOP witnessed.
The Angolans, title holders, are in Algeria with a second team, as the main one is attending a training session in Spain for the African Cup of Nations, expected for August this year, in Angola.
Angola will play Liberia Friday for the Pan-African Games.
Meanwhile, the female basketball team was defeated (44-75) at the debut match against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
