The standout point guard Tarek Hamdani earned the Player of the Year of the championship-winning runner-up team champion team Widad Boufarik. He received multiple other awards, picked up the Finals MVP, Domestic Player of the Year, Guard of the Year and earned a spot in the First Team. Hamdani's excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Nadi Basket 2 to 1 in the final series. He averaged 10 points per game in the league. Hamdani led the Algeria in assists per game with over 7. He recorded double-doubles in 7 games during the event. Hamdani's 18 points against the Mouloudia were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. The standout center Rabah Zitoun was named the Defensive Player of the Year of the championship-winning Widad Boufarik. He collected multiple other honors, was voted the Center of the Year and was selected to the First Team. Zitoun's excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Nadi Basket 2 to 1 in the final series. He registered over 11 points and almost 10 rebounds per game that season in the league. Zitoun had double-doubles in 11 games at the event. His 28 points against the Moustakbal were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. Mohamed Bensalah, 24-year old small forward from the finalist team Nadi Basket Staoueli, was selected as the Forward of the Year at the Algeria. He graduated from the Paul Quinn three years ago. Bensalah was also chosen to the First Team. His best performance made his team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by the Widad 1 to 2. With finesse and precision, Bensalah claimed the third position in points per game, delivering a stellar over 16 points per game average. Bensalah also recorded 7 rebounds per game over the season in the league. He has totalled 12 games of 20 or more points and logged double-doubles in 6 games on the year. Bensalah's 33 points against the Widad were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. Mustapha Braik, from the Chabab Sportif Tlemcen, was named to the First Team of Algeria. He averaged almost 16 points and 5 rebounds per game in the league. Braik has totalled 5 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 2 games on the year. His 25 points against the Mouloudia were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. The standout forward Kadour Mtidji earned a spot in the First Team of the championship-winning Widad Boufarik. His excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Nadi Basket 2 to 1 in the final series. Mtidji notched over 15 points and 4 rebounds per game that season in the league. His 31 points against Rouiba were the most he scored in the 25 26 season.
